"Clerics, Abbots, & Heretics: Oh My!" a Church Council Drag Fundraiser

Our very queer and trans staff are excited to announce that the Church Council is hosting a Drag Fundraiser: "Clerics, Abbots, & Heretics: Oh My!" Join us on May 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Seattle Labor Temple (5030 1st Ave S) for a spectacular show!

At a time when attacks against migrant communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and so many others are on the rise, part of how we organize for transformational change toward liberation and justice is through celebration. This event allows us to showcase our talents, spotlight our fabulosity, and sustain the work of the Church Council in the years to come!

In the weeks leading up to our event, leaders from your communities will fundraise to compete for four spots as amateur drag performers. Our top 4 will be put into makeup and supported by professional drag artists King Leo Mane and SirLoin, who will also be performing!

Check out our competitors' donation pages on our website, and vote with your dollars! Our first 3 winners will be announced on April 28th. Winners will be chosen according to:

• The Most Donations
• The Most Unique Donors
• The Most Recurring Donors

You will get to vote for our final winner on May 7 during GiveBig!

En las semanas previas a nuestro evento, los líderes de sus comunidades recaudarán fondos para competir por cuatro puestos como artistas drag amateurs. Los 4 mejores se maquillarán y contarán con el apoyo de los artistas drag profesionales King Leo Mane y SirLoin, ¡que también se estrenarán!
